April Minutes

Call to Order by Jerry

Attending: Billy and Judy Crowley, Jerry and Gail DeLoach, Don and Effie Voltz,

Garner and Sylvia Walker, Dr. Bill and Sophie Wills and Ray Yody.

Introductions: None

Review of Minutes: Don Voltz made motion for last month minutes to stand. Sophie

seconded and all approved.

Treasurer’s Report: Linda gave me a report of the checkbook, which I read. Balance

$429.00 as of 3-27-10. Deposits $10.00 (brags), a check to Jerry DeLoach

for  $40.33 to cover (cards and stamps), leaving a balance of $398.68.

Dr. Bill made a motion to accept checkbook report and Ray Yody seconded.

Correspondence: Reminder (Pirates of Perry) the theme at the fall Samboree. Please

make  reservations. quickly to get a good hook-up. The dates are Sept. 16-19.

May campout at Costal Georgia R.V. Resort: 20-22nd Don and Effie have

planned a Luau theme.  This should be loads of fun. If you haven’t made

reservations,  please do so soon.

Unfinished Business: Club Projects: 1. A motion was made to send $100 to the Partnership

Cancer  Fund by Ray Yody. Garner Walker seconded and all approved. 2.

Linda is still trying to set up a Blood Drive with the Quota Club. 3. Don made

a motion to use August campout  at Coffee General State Park as a work

weekend to clean up the Park.  Dr. Bill seconded and all approved. The

dates are August 26-28. Please take a few minutes and look at our web site. 5.

Garner still has forms for you that have not make reservations at Jekyll Island.

This campout will be November 18-20.

New Business: 1. Please make reservations for our campouts as soon as possible, it helps

the host make preparation as well as the place where we camp. 2. Business

matters of the club becomes very difficult when we don’t have enough club

support in attendance. Be prepared at May campout to discuss this issue and

come up with a way to deal with it. We need input. 3. A motion was made to

hold our Meetings on Friday night so Ray can attend, motion made by Don and

seconded by Ray all approved.

Brags and Rigs : Collected $6.00 in Brags and $30.00 from rigs. This will be deposited in bank.
