Jerry introduced Pat Haynes’s guest, Ronnie and Mary Cravens.

 

Minutes from last minutes – motion to accept as printed by Don Voltz and 2^{nd by Pat Haynes and so moved as accepted}

Treasurer report – motion to accept by Don Voltz and 2nd by Ray Yody and so moved as accepted

Correspondence – no correspondence received -cards were mailed to Judy for her speedy recovery in hospital

Unfinished Business: November 11-13, 2010 Campout at Jekyll Island Garner Walker advised there would be 4 extra sites available @ rate of $28.34 per night if anyone else is interested, let him know

May campout – Hosted by Don and Effie Voltz at Coastal Georgia RV Resort in Brunswick, Georgia, $30.00 per night (nice new Park) in the works, everything is looking good with Lula theme

February campout – Jerry DeLoach will email information to everyone.

July campout – Hosted by Jake and Linda Tillman – information was passed out.

March 24-28 – Spring Good Sams Jamboree – theme is Mardi Gras – $100.00 for 3 day weekend – reminded everyone to send in their reservations ASAP.

August campout location hosted by Cornelia Hiers and Catherine Marshall – location not decided yet

Christmas Party – voted on December 11, 2010 at Valdosta Yacht Club hosted by Al and Pat Haynes.

Jake Tillman passed out information to help hosting a campout.

We will send out another list of the 2010 campouts.

Pat Haynes donated a box of needy items for the host and hostess to use for the campout and then pass on to the next host with clean towels. As time goes on we need to restock or add things as we see needed. Thank you, Pat.

Sophie Wills gave a report on the children we help at Christmas. One boy received a pair of tennis shoes and two girls received some toys they are requested. Both families were pleased.

New Business – Jerry DeLoach discussed our Chapter participating in Chapter projects and submit to the State for Chapter of the Year Award. We discuss several projects and ask any one who had an idea to write it up and send it to Jerry, and then we would form a committee to work on that project. Jake Tillman was appointed to set up a work clean up day. It may need to be an additional campout. We are going to be working hard for the Chapter of the Year.

 

The New Web Site is up and working with a few minor problems. Hopefully new pictures and items will be added soon. The site is the same

www.southgeorgiarivers.org.Jake Tillman recommended that the Chapter have a Membership person to promote membership to our Chapter. He nominated Don Voltz, Pat Haynes accepted, Don Hilliard 2nd the nomination and motion so moved and accepted. Don Voltz accepted Chapter Membership Chairman as of March 2010.

Jake Tillman has some sweat shirts for sale if anyone is interested see him after the meeting.

Pat Haynes made a motion to collect $5.00 per rig, give ½ to host and ½ to treasury. After discussion she withdrew her motion. Garner Walker made a motion to collect $5.00 per rig, excluding guests, per campout which will be deposited into the Chapter’s treasury and a portion would be available each month if needed to help the host or hostess with the cost of meat for their campout. This motion was accepted by Donald Hilliard, 2nd by Ray Yody and motion so moved as accepted.

We collected $10.00 on brags, $50.00 from the rigs to be deposited to into the treasury.

Saturday morning breakfast also brought in $60.00 which will be deposited into the treasury. (Normally breakfast is before meeting but changed this month)

Ray Yody gave the benediction. Meeting was adjourned
